The midfield uses a three man unit to control the game. TIM acts as a single pivot to shield the defense and break up opposition play. CARLOS plays as a runner to drive the ball forward and link the lines. MERLIN works as an attacking ten, moving into the pockets between the lines to create chances and play through balls. This trio ensures the ball moves quickly from the back to the front.

The attack features three players working close together. THIERNO works as a lone striker to hold up the ball and fight the center backs. On the wings, JACK and TYRIQUE act as wide attackers. JACK likes to cut inside to create, while TYRIQUE stays wide to stretch the play. These players press the opposition defenders to win the ball back quickly and keep the pressure high.

This Everton formation offers several tactical advantages. The team can create wide overloads when SÉAMUS or ADAM overlap their wingers to create extra men. The midfield allows for numerical superiority in the center when MERLIN pushes into the final third.
