MATEUS and TOMAS sit deeper to control the center of the pitch, with one player looking to shield the back four and the other driving forward to support the attack. They work to break the line with vertical passes and maintain control of the central zone.

Up front, West Ham employs three attackers to stretch the opposition. TATY leads the line as the lone striker to hold up the ball and make runs into the channels. On the flanks, JARROD and CRYSENCIO act as wide attackers who cut inside to create goal scoring opportunities. This movement creates space for the midfielders to join the attack, while the front three press hard to force mistakes in the opponent half.
