Starting Lineup

Jagiellonia utilizes a 5-2-3 formation to play a direct and high pressing style of football. Mazurek works to shield the defense and break the line with vertical passes, while Imaz connects the defense to the attack by driving forward into space. This duo must maintain compactness to prevent opponents from playing through the middle. They act as the engine that allows the team to transition from a deep block into an attacking phase.

In the final third, Jagiellonia uses three attackers to pin the opposition back. Pululu operates as a lone striker to hold up the ball and lead the press from the front. Szmyt and Nahuel play as wide wingers who stay high to create width and look to cut inside into goal scoring positions. The goal is to create mismatches in the wide areas and use quick passing to find Pululu in the box.
