YANN operates between the posts to organize the defensive unit. The back line consists of a back three where MANUEL acts as the left center back, ALESSANDRO plays as the right center back, and STEFAN sits in the middle. These defenders step up to intercept passes and cover space left by the midfielders. The wide midfielders, FEDERICO on the left and DENZEL on the right, act as wing backs who must track back to help the defense and provide width when the team wins the ball.

The midfield is a busy engine room that connects the defense to the attack. PIOTR operates in an attacking ten role to find pockets of space between the lines. HAKAN and NICOLÒ work in the central roles to drive forward and break the line with through balls. HAKAN uses his passing range to switch play, while NICOLÒ helps to press the ball high up the pitch. This group of five ensures that the team can shield the defense and maintain control in the middle of the park.

Inter utilizes two forwards to lead the attack. LAUTARO plays as a left striker and MARCUS plays as a right striker. These two forwards work together to hold up the ball and press the opposition defenders. They use their movement to create space for PIOTR to run into. The attack is built through quick passes from the midfield, with the forwards often making runs behind the defense to exploit high lines.

This formation offers several tactical advantages. The presence of three central defenders and two central midfielders creates numerical superiority in the middle of the pitch.
