JUAN provides cover on the left while AMIR stays solid in the center. As wide defenders, LEONARDO and MIGUEL can overlap to provide width or drop back to help the center when the team loses possession. The defensive unit stays compact to block the opposition and protect the goal.

The midfield uses an attacking ten to link the play. ELJIF plays in the advanced role to break the line and find space between the lines. BILLY and STANISLAV sit deeper in the midfield to connect the defense and attack. Both players must cover much of the ground, with one player shielding the defense while the other drives forward to support the attack. This helps Napoli maintain a constant presence in the center of the pitch.

The attack features three players in the front line. RASMUS plays as a lone striker, often tasked to hold up the ball and wait for support from his teammates.
