IGNACE VAN acts as an overlapping full back on the right to add numbers in the final third. ÁLEX pushes up on the left to provide width and deliver crosses into the box.

The midfield works in a three man unit to control the center. NICO plays as an attacking ten to link the midfield to the front line. MÁXIMO works on the left to drive forward and break the line with his movement. LUCAS holds his position on the right to shield the defense and intercept passes. This trio works to press in waves to prevent the opponent from playing through the middle.

The attack utilizes three forwards to pin the opposition back. ANASTASIOS acts as a lone striker to hold up the ball and bring others into play. On the flanks, MARTIN cuts inside from the left to create goal scoring chances. JESÚS operates on the right as an inverted winger to find pockets of space. The front three press in a coordinated way to force mistakes from the defenders.

One strength of this Como lineup is the ability to create wide overloads when IGNACE VAN and JESÚS push forward together.
