DAOUDA plays as a left back to push forward and provide width, while LUCK works on the right to overlap during attacks. The defensive unit must stay compact to prevent being caught out when the full backs step up.

The midfield operates as a double pivot to manage the center of the pitch. HAMIDOU and LUCAS sit in front of the defense to shield the back line and intercept passes. They must work hard to track back when possession is lost. These two players are responsible for breaking the line with vertical passes to the forwards. They connect the defense to the attack by recycling play and ensuring the team does not get overrun in the middle.

Brest uses a heavy attacking lineup with four dedicated forwards. PATHÉ and JUNIOR DINA act as wide wingers to provide width and stretch the opposing backline.
