KOUBEK (c) · DRAKPE · N’GUESSAN · MIKULA · ICHA · STRÁNSKÝ · DIAKITÉ · KAYONDO · LEXA · HODOUŠ · KROLLIS

Slovan Liberec utilizes a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup aims to play vertical football with a heavy emphasis on pressing and quick transitions. The goal is to use wide players to stretch the opposition and create direct paths to the goal through the central attacking unit.

Koubek (C) commands the area from the goal line. He sits behind a back three of N'Guessan, Mikula, and Drakpe. Mikula and Drakpe provide cover and presence in the air while N'Guessan acts as the central anchor to intercept passes. The defensive unit can step up to squeeze the space between the lines or drop back to maintain a solid block when under pressure.

The midfield operates with two central players, Stránský and Diakité, supported by wide midfielders Icha and Kayondo. Stránský and Diakité work to shield the defense and win second balls. They drive forward to connect the defense to the attack by breaking the line with direct passes. Icha and Kayondo push high to provide width, making them act more like wing backs in certain phases of play to help control the flanks.

In the attacking phase, Slovan Liberec employs three attackers. Krollis acts as the lone striker to hold up the ball and occupy the central defenders. Lexa and Hodouš occupy the wide areas as inverted wingers, looking to cut inside and find shooting lanes. This movement creates space for the wide midfielders to overlap and provides multiple passing options around the box.

One major strength is the ability to create wide overloads when Icha and Kayondo push forward to join Lexa and Hodouš. The team also gains an advantage through high pressing in coordinated waves, using the front three to force mistakes. This formation allows for quick transitions when the ball is won in the middle third.

This 3-4-3 formation provides a direct and aggressive way to play. It is best suited for matches where the team needs to exploit space behind the opposition full backs or dominate through high intensity.
