DAIKI acts as an overlapping full back to push into the final third, while TIAGO stays wide to stretch the opposing defense. In the center, SIEBE VAN and JEAN-KÉVIN act as the main defensive wall. SIEBE VAN uses his aerial strength to defend crosses, and JEAN-KÉVIN works to cover space and intercept passes when the team plays a high line.

The midfield operates with a combination of a central trio and an attacking ten. LEONARDO and MATHIAS work to shield the defense and win second balls in the middle of the pitch. LEONARDO drives forward to carry the ball into space, while MATHIAS connects the defense to the attack with his passing range. HYUN-SEOK plays in the advanced role, sitting behind the forwards to create chances and find gaps in the defensive block. This unit ensures Gent can maintain control when they push forward.
