Kim Min Jae uses his strength to break up play, while Kim Ju Sung works to connect the lines by moving the ball forward. On the flanks, Lee Tae Seok and Seol Young Woo act as wide midfielders. They must tuck inside to maintain compactness but also possess the engine to sprint wide when the team shifts play.

Up front, Jo Hyeun Woo acts as a lone striker. He must hold up the ball to allow the midfield to move up the pitch. The attacking movement relies on the width provided by the wing backs and the runs from the wide midfielders. When the team loses possession, the forwards must press immediately to prevent the opponent from playing through the middle.
