FABIAN operates between the posts to start the build up from the back. The defensive unit consists of a back four where SAVA-ARANGEL and DJEVENCIO VAN act as wide defenders. SAVA-ARANGEL looks to overlap to provide width while DJEVENCIO VAN can push forward to support the flank. In the center, DAMON and ALEC VAN form the heart of the defense, with one player often stepping up to intercept passes while the other provides cover. This defensive unit works to keep the lines compact and maintain a high line.

The midfield relies on a combination of roles to control the center of the pitch. SEM and AJDIN work as the central midfielders who shield the defense and help connect the back line to the attack. They must track back when the ball is lost and press opponents to regain possession. JEFF-REINE plays as the attacking midfielder, sitting higher to drive forward and create chances. This player looks to break the line with through balls and find space between the opposition's midfield and defensive units.

Up front, the attacking trio uses three attackers to stretch the opposition defense. LUKA plays as the lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and lead the press from the front. On the flanks, MARIO and YVANDRO B. act as wide wingers who look to cut inside or stay wide to cross the ball. These players push high to pin the opposing full backs and create room in the central areas for the midfield to run into.

Heracles Almelo gains a tactical advantage by using wide overloads when the full backs join the attack. The combination of wide wingers and advancing defenders creates situations where the opposition must commit more players to the flanks, leaving gaps in the middle.
