Telstar utilizes a 4-2-4 formation that is built for aggressive, direct football. This lineup focuses on high energy and getting bodies forward as quickly as possible to overwhelm the opposition. The goal is to bypass a crowded middle section and use the wide areas and a heavy front line to force errors in the final third.

TYRICK stays between the posts to act as the last line of defense. Behind him, a back four consists of NIGEL O. on the left and GERALD on the right, while YAMANO and DION occupy the central positions. NIGEL O. and GERALD are tasked with pushing high to provide width, while YAMANO and DION must hold a line to cover any space left behind during transitions. The central defenders need to be ready to tackle and intercept long balls, working together to maintain a compact block when the team drops deep.

The midfield is a double pivot consisting of ROJENDRO and TYRONE. Their main job is to shield the back four and win back possession through hard tackling. ROJENDRO and TYRONE act as the bridge between the defense and the four attackers, where they must resist being bypassed by the opponent. They do not push too high, instead focusing on breaking the line with vertical passes to the forwards.

The attacking unit is incredibly heavy with four players pushing the opposition back. DYLAN and ADIL play as wide wingers on the left and right, looking to cut inside or deliver crosses into the box. SOUFIANE and SEM operate as the two central forwards, tasked with holding up the ball and pressing the opponent's defenders. This front line creates constant movement, forcing defenders to make difficult decisions about who to mark.

Telstar gains a significant advantage through wide overloads when NIGEL O. and GERALD overlap their wingers. This creates a numerical advantage on the flanks that is difficult to track. Additionally, the team can use its speed of transition to catch opponents out of position, moving from a defensive block to a full attacking press in seconds.

This 4-2-4 formation is a high-risk, high-reward system designed to pin the opponent in their own half. It is best suited for matches where Telstar needs to score quickly or against teams that struggle with intense physical pressure.
