JOSEP starts between the posts to organize the defense. The back line consists of a central trio where LACROIX acts as the anchor while BASTONI and BISSECK operate on the left and right sides respectively. BASTONI is known for his passing range and ability to step up into midfield, while BISSECK provides aerial strength. These defenders stay compact to ensure they cover all central lanes when the team sits deep or pushes a high line.

The midfield operates with a central duo and two wide players. CALHANOGLU controls the tempo and shields the defense with his passing range and set piece delivery. BARELLA drives forward to connect the lines and press the opponent. On the flanks, DIMARCO and PORRO act as wide midfielders who push high to provide width. This configuration allows the midfield to shift quickly to cover gaps left by the attacking players.

In the attacking third, Inter uses three forwards to stretch the defense. LAUTARO leads the line as the primary striker, often holding up the ball to bring others into play.
