STEFANOS operates between the posts to command the box and start attacks. The back four consists of SILVAN at right back and RHODRI at left back, both of whom are expected to push up the pitch to provide width. REMO and MIRLIND act as the two central defenders, where REMO covers the right side and MIRLIND holds the left. They work together to stay compact and step up to intercept passes.

The midfield works in a way that connects the back line to the front three. LUCA and EMMANUEL sit in the central areas to shield the defense and win the ball back. They act as the engines that drive the team forward through short passes. PAJTIM operates in the advanced space behind the striker to create chances and find gaps in the opposition block.

Winterthur attacks with three dedicated forwards to stretch the play. ANDRIN leads the line as the lone striker, acting to hold up the ball and bring others into play. RANDY and NISHAN play as wide attackers, with RANDY cutting inside from the right and NISHAN looking to exploit the left flank. This movement creates space for the midfielders to push forward and join the attack.

One major strength of this formation is the ability to create numerical superiority in the middle of the pitch. By having PAJTIM push high, the team can overwhelm the opponent's defensive midfield. The wide players RANDY and NISHAN also help to create wide overloads when SILVAN and RHODRI overlap to join the offensive phase. This makes it difficult for opponents to mark everyone in the final third.
