They work together to maintain a high line and step up to intercept passes before the opponent can turn.

The midfield operates with a central trio that connects the defense to the attack. ANÍBAL and JEPPE work to shield the back four by sitting in the passing lanes and tackling opponents in central areas. ONNI plays as an attacking ten who sits just behind the strikers to create chances and break the line with through balls. This midfield unit ensures that the team can move from a defensive block to an attacking phase with quick, short passes.

Birmingham Legion uses three attackers to stretch the opposition defense. MARCUS acts as the lone striker who holds up the ball and works to pin the central defenders. On the flanks, ANDERS and HIRVING play as wide wingers who look to cut inside and threaten the goal. Their movement creates space in the channels for the midfielders to run into, while the forwards press the opposition full backs to prevent them from building play.
