In the final third, the team uses two forwards. Daka uses his pace to make runs in behind the defenders. Fatawu works from the right side, looking to cut inside and create chances. The attack relies on the wing backs, Thomas and Ricardo, to cross the ball into the box. Daka can hold up the ball to wait for support, while Fatawu uses his movement to create space. The front two must press the opposition back line to win the ball high up the pitch.

One major advantage of this formation is the ability to create wide overloads. When Thomas and Ricardo push up, they create extra numbers alongside Fatawu and Daka. Another strength is the compactness when defending. Having three central defenders and three midfielders makes it very hard for teams to play through the center.
