Besiktas employs a 5-2-3 formation that focuses on a heavy counter attacking identity. This lineup is built to sit deep and absorb pressure before hitting opponents with direct vertical passes. The goal is to use the width of the pitch to stretch the opposition and create space for quick transitions.

Yabancı Kaleci starts in goal to command the area and sweep up long balls. The defensive unit operates in a back five where Üst Düzey 6 numara acts as the central anchor. Agbadou plays as the right sided center back to cover wide areas, while Şef Stoper occupies the left central role to provide aerial strength. Murillo operates as the right wing back to provide width and overlap during attacks. Yabancı Sol Bek works as the left wing back to track back and defend against wide threats. The whole unit stays compact to block passing lanes through the middle.

The midfield consists of a pair of central midfielders that link the defense to the front three. Orkun Kökçü operates in the left central role, using his passing range to break the line and switch play. YILDIZ 8 veya plays in the right central role to help shield the defense and drive forward when the team wins the ball back. These two players must work hard to cover the ground between the back five and the attackers to prevent the opposition from finding space in the half spaces.

In the attacking phase, Besiktas uses three forwards to press the opposition backline. Romelu Lukaku leads the line as a lone striker, using his strength to hold up the ball and bring others into play. YILDIZ OĞLU YILDIZ plays as the left winger and looks to cut inside into the box, while YILDIZ Sağ Kanat stays wide on the right to provide crosses.
