To his sides, BARTESAGHI and RICCI work to link the defense to the attack, with RICCI often driving forward to support the central area. On the wider parts of the midfield line, ALEXIS and RABIOT push higher to provide support, creating a heavy presence that makes it hard for opponents to play through the center.

In the final third, the team employs three attackers to stretch the opposition. NKUNKU acts as the focal point of the attack, working to hold up the ball and bring others into play. On the flanks, LEAO and PULISIC operate as wide attackers, with LEAO using his dribbling and pace to beat defenders while PULISIC cuts inside to create chances. This attacking lineup is designed to press high, forcing the opposition back into their own half and creating chances through quick transitions.

One major tactical advantage is the numerical superiority in the middle of the field, which allows the team to control possession and dominate the central channels.
