Sp. Braga utilize a 3-4-3 formation that focuses on a high press and verticality. This lineup is built to play aggressive football that looks to win the ball high up the pitch and strike quickly. The goal is to use width to stretch the opposition and create chances through direct movement.

Lukas(Bernardo) sits between the posts to command the area. The defensive unit operates with a back three consisting of Mbi, Tamboril, and Lagerbielke. Mbi and Lagerbielke provide cover while Tamboril acts as the central anchor. The wing backs, Gabri on the left and V. Gomez on the right, are tasked to push high up the pitch to provide width. They must track back quickly to prevent crosses when the team loses possession.

The midfield operates with two central players, Tiknaz and Moutinho, who sit in front of the back three. Moutinho acts to control the tempo and connect the defense to the attack, while Tiknaz works to break the lines with forward runs and interceptions. Gabri and V. Gomez provide the necessary width in the middle third, helping the central duo to shield the defense and shift the play from one side to the other.

In the attacking third, Sp. Braga deploy three forwards to pin the opposition defense. Tubarão-martelo leads the line as a lone striker to hold up the ball and occupy the central defenders. Pau and Horta act as wide attackers, cutting inside to create shooting opportunities or looking to overlap with the wing backs. This attacking group is designed to press the opposition back line heavily to force turnovers in dangerous areas.

One major advantage of this formation is the ability to create wide overloads when Gabri and V. Gomez push forward to support the wingers. This movement forces the opposition to defend much wider, creating gaps in the middle. Another strength is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, using the front three and the wing backs to squeeze the opponent into their own half.

This 3-4-3 formation relies on high intensity and rapid transitions to overwhelm the opponent. It is best suited for games against teams that play a high line or struggle to manage wide defensive threats.
