Sp. Braga utilizes a 3-4-3 formation that focuses on verticality and quick transitions. This lineup is built to press high and use aggressive wide movements to break lines. The team looks to control the central areas through heavy presence while using the front three to stretch the opposition.

Hornicek stays between the posts to start the build up from the back. The defensive unit consists of a back three featuring REFORÇO in the middle, with Arrey-Mbi on the left and Lagerbielke on the right. REFORÇO acts as the central anchor, while Arrey-Mbi and Lagerbielke step up to intercept passes or cover space behind the midfield. This back three keeps the team compact when sitting deep and can push high to squeeze the pitch.

The midfield operates with two central players and two attacking midfielders to connect the lines. Tiknaz and Grillistch sit in the pivot to shield the defense and win second balls. In front of them, REFORÇO and V.Gomez act as the creative engine, pushing into the half spaces to find pockets of space. This midfield block works to win the ball back quickly and switch play to the flanks to find the attackers.

Sp. Braga attacks with three forwards that occupy the entire width of the pitch. R.Horta and Pai Victor stay wide as inverted wingers, looking to cut inside and run at the defense. REFORÇO leads the line as the lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and make runs into the box. The movement of the wingers pulls the opposing full backs out of position, creating gaps for the attacking midfielders to run into.

A major advantage of this 3-4-3 formation is the ability to create wide overloads when the midfielders push high. The team can also achieve numerical superiority in the middle of the park, making it difficult for opponents to pass through the center. When the ball is lost, the proximity of the players allows them to press high in coordinated waves to recover possession in dangerous areas.

This formation creates a heavy offensive presence that forces opponents to defend deep. It is best suited for games where Sp. Braga wants to dominate the ball and hunt for turnovers in the final third.
