To his sides, Craig and Noddy work to intercept passes and break the lines. The presence of Arron and Joss in the attacking midfield roles adds a layer of creativity. Arron and Joss push into the half spaces to link with the lone striker, ensuring the team can transition quickly from a low block to an attacking phase.

In the final third, Steve operates as a lone striker. He must hold up the ball to allow the midfield to join the attack. The attacking structure relies on Arron and Joss to drift wide or cut inside to create numerical advantages. While Steve works to pin the opposition defenders back, the wingers provide the width needed to stretch the defense. The team presses from the front through Steve, attempting to force hurried passes that the midfield can intercept.

One major advantage for Milan is the ability to create a crowded central corridor, making it very difficult for opponents to play through the middle. The close proximity of Craig, Noddy, and Moggy allows for immediate pressure when the ball enters the central zone. Another strength lies in the speed of transition, as the midfield can quickly spread the ball to Arron or Joss to exploit gaps left by a high defensive line.
