Prioritizing defensive solidity and quick transitions, PSG utilizes a 5-3-2 formation. This lineup is built to sit deep and soak up pressure before launching rapid attacks through the center or wide areas. The goal is to maintain a compact unit that makes it difficult for opponents to find space between the lines.

Senna Oz guards the goal, acting as the last line of defense. The back five consists of three central defenders, IDRIS, NASKAR, and ALP, who work together to block passing lanes and win aerial duels. IDRIS acts as the anchor in the middle, while NASKAR and ALP cover the wider channels of the central zone. On the flanks, the wing backs MOWWGLI and MODOROKI are tasked with providing width. They must track back to form a deep block when defending, but they also need to push high to overlap during transitions to support the attack.

The midfield is composed of a central trio designed to control the tempo and protect the back five. TATSU and THE MAIN CHARACTER occupy the central roles, where they work to intercept passes and break the line with vertical runs. They provide the link between the defense and the attacking unit. Ahead of them, FLAWLESS operates as an attacking midfielder, looking to find pockets of space and deliver final passes. This midfield unit must stay close together to prevent the opponent from playing through the middle.

In the final third, the attacking unit relies on two forwards, HYPER and ARDAS, to stretch the opposition. HYPER plays as the left striker, often looking to hold up the ball and bring others into play. ARDAS plays as the right striker, using movement to pull defenders out of position. This duo works closely with FLAWLESS to create chances in the box, often making runs behind the defensive line to exploit space. The two strikers also lead the press, forcing the opposition to play long or make errors.

One major strength for PSG is the ability to create wide overloads when MOWWGLI and MODOROKI push forward alongside the attackers. Another advantage is the numerical superiority in the central defensive area, which makes it very hard for opponents to penetrate the box. The formation also allows for a very compact low block that is difficult to break down through central passing.

This 5-3-2 formation is ideal for a team looking to absorb pressure and strike on the counter. It works best against opponents that dominate possession but struggle to handle quick transitions.
