The midfield utilizes a wide pairing to control the flanks and the center. BARELLA operates as a central engine who drives forward with the ball and presses aggressively. C.JONES or RIOS provides balance on the left side to help protect the defense. On the right, PORRO acts as a wide midfielder who can push up to support the attack. DIMARCO plays on the left as an attacking wing back, often looking to overlap the winger and deliver crosses into the box.

Inter uses three attackers to stretch the opposition. LAUTARO leads the line as a pressing centre-forward who works to pin the last defender and hold up the ball. THURAM operates on the right as an inverted winger who likes to cut inside to create goal scoring chances. ENCISO plays on the left to provide width and creativity.
