Starting Lineup
Tahmid (01) · Bappy (02) · Maruf (04) · Tuha (08) · Tarek (06) · munna (07) · Hadi (11) · Nayeem (21) · Akash (10) · Tamim (19) · Fahim (09)All Boys looks to play with a high press and quick transitions through a 3-5-2 formation. This lineup is built to control the middle of the pitch and use a heavy central presence to dominate territory. The team wants to win the ball back high up the pitch to catch opponents before they can get organized.
Tahmid sits between the three defenders to act as a primary layer of protection. The back three consists of Bappy, Tuha, and Tarek who work as a compact unit to defend zonally. Tarek and Bappy cover the wide areas when the midfield pushes forward, while Tuha stays central to win the header and clear the lines. They defend as a cohesive group to ensure they do not get caught out when the team moves into an attacking phase.
The midfield operates with a single pivot and two attacking midfielders to bridge the gaps. munna and Hadi form a double pivot to shield the defence and win the second ball. Nayeem sits just ahead of them to connect the defensive and attacking lines by recycling possession. Further forward, Maruf and Akash act as two tens in the half-spaces to create chances. Maruf and Akash press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch and drive the team forward.
All Boys uses a two-man partnership in the front line to stretch the defence. Tamim and Fahim work together to press the opposition back line and make runs in behind. Tamim often holds up the ball to allow the midfielders to join the attack, while Fahim looks to find space between the lines. They use combinations to pull defenders out of position, often looking to play a one-two to split the defence with a through ball.
A major advantage for All Boys is the numerical superiority in midfield which allows them to dominate the central zone. The presence of Maruf and Akash in the half-spaces creates constant pressure on the opposition pivot. They also use the width of the midfield to switch play and isolate wide players in one on one situations when the wingers push high.
This 3-5-2 formation relies on a heavy central presence and intense pressing to overwhelm the opposition. It is best suited for games where the team needs to control the tempo and win transitions through a crowded midfield.
