Havertz leads the line as a lone striker, playing as a pressing centre-forward to disrupt the opponent's build up. He uses his physical presence to hold up the ball and wait for the midfielders to push up. The attacking unit relies on Saka and Barcola to provide width, with Saka often looking to cut inside to create chances. This system creates runs in behind and allows the team to attack in combinations through the middle or via crosses from the wide areas.

Arsenal gains a significant advantage through their ability to press in coordinated waves, making it difficult for opponents to play out from the back.
