The main goal is to win the ball high up the pitch and attack with speed. This is a heavy pressing system meant to squeeze the space in the opposition half and force turnovers.

It also allows for the ability to press high in coordinated waves to force mistakes. The presence of four attackers makes it very hard for the opponent to defend the box during transitions.
