Starting Lineup

Milan look to control the game through a high press and aggressive attacking intent using a 4-3-3. This lineup is built to win the ball back high up the pitch and immediately look to break the line with vertical passes. The team relies on quick transitions to catch the opposition before they can settle into a defensive block.

Prub Any stands between the posts to act as the last line of defense. The back four functions as a flat back four that can push up to squeeze the space in the middle of the pitch. Prub and Waddaa act as the central defenders, where Waddaa covers the space behind while Prub maintains the line. On the flanks, JD operates as a full back to provide stability, while Any provides width from the left to support the attack.

The midfield relies on a three man midfield with a carrier to dictate the tempo. Mikey and Noobi work to compress the midfield and win the second ball in the center. Dean plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to arrive late into the box to score. This trio works to connect the defensive unit with the front line, with Noobi often dropping to help recycle possession when the team faces pressure.

Milan attack with three attackers across the front to stretch the defence. The wide wingers, Any on the right and Any on the left, stay wide to pull the opposition defenders apart. The lone striker, Any, acts as a focal point to hold up the ball and link up play between the lines. This setup creates many opportunities for the wingers to cut inside and find space in the channels or for the full backs to overlap the winger.

This formation offers significant advantages through its ability to press high in coordinated waves. By using the front three to trigger a press, Milan can force a long ball from the opposition. Another strength is the ability to create wide overloads, especially when JD and Any push forward to support the wingers. These movements force the opposing back line to shift constantly, creating gaps for Dean to exploit.
