UMAR plays in the hole as an attacking ten to connect the defensive and attacking lines. This midfield group must press in a mid-block to prevent the opposition from playing through the lines. When the team wins the ball, UMAR can carry the ball forward to support the attack and find the feet of the strikers.

The attacking unit features a partnership of two forwards, DEI and ETHAN. They play as a duo to stretch the defence and hunt for runs in behind. Working together, DEI and ETHAN press the opposition back line to force a long ball. The team looks to hit in behind on the transition, often using the width provided by VORTEX and VIAN to whip it in or deliver crosses into the box. Wing backs will overlap to create chances.

This formation offers great compactness when defending. Sweden can easily drop into a low block to deny the turn of attackers. Another strength is the ability to create wide overloads when VORTEX and VIAN push forward to support the attack. The team also benefits from the speed of transition, allowing them to hit the opposition before they can regroup.
