In the middle of the pitch, Sweden uses a three man midfield with a carrier to control the tempo. JAMA, the captain, operates as the RCM to shield the defense and recycle possession. TROY plays as the LCM to carry the ball forward and link the defense to the attack. UMAR sits in the hole as an attacking ten behind the forwards to create chances. The midfield aims to win the second ball and quickly find the passing lanes to the front line.

The attacking unit relies on two forwards in a partnership to pressure the opposition back line. ZAID and ETHAN work in tandem to find space in behind or hold up the ball to allow the midfield to step up. VORTEX and VIAN provide the width, often looking to get to the byline and whip it in for the strikers. ZAID often makes runs to stretch the defense, while ETHAN focuses on link up play between the lines. The team looks to break quickly once the ball is won.

One major advantage of this formation is the compactness when defending deep in their own half. This makes it very difficult for opponents to find gaps through the middle. Additionally, the team utilizes wide overloads when VORTEX and VIAN push high, creating one on one situations for the wingers. The speed of transition allows Sweden to punish teams that commit too many men forward.
