Czechia use three attackers to pin the last defender. Schick operates as a pressing centre-forward who can hold up the ball and find the feet of his teammates. Sulc and Provod act as wide wingers who cut inside to create chances in the half spaces. They look to create runs in behind or whip it in from wide areas to find the striker.

One major advantage is the ability to press high in coordinated waves with the front three and midfield. The team can also create wide overloads when Coufal and Zeleny push up to support the wingers. This allows the side to win it back high up the pitch and attack quickly in transition.
