This intention is executed through a 4-2-4 formation that prioritizes numbers in the final third. By spreading the field, the team looks to catch opponents off balance and use their speed to move the ball quickly from the back to the front.

Lodigin stands between the posts to organize the defensive line. The back four operates as a flat line, where Tsapras acts as a right back to provide coverage on the flank. Vichos plays at left back and must track back to assist the central defenders. Magnusson and Liagas form the central pairing, with Magnusson often tasked to win the header and Liagas acting as a covering defender when the line steps up. This unit works to keep the distance between the defense and midfield small to avoid leaving gaps.

The midfield relies on a double pivot to manage the center of the pitch. Cokaj and Kosti occupy the two central roles, tasked with holding the position and protecting the two center backs. Cokaj works to connect the defensive and attacking lines by recycling possession, while Kosti focuses on winning the second ball and driving forward to support the transition.
