Piast looks to play an aggressive and vertical style of football using a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup relies on high energy to disrupt the opponent and move the ball quickly toward the goal. The team focuses on winning the ball high up the pitch to create immediate scoring opportunities.

Plach sits in goal to command the area and direct the back line. The defensive unit operates with a flat back four featuring Borowski at right back and Lewicki at left back. In the center, J.Rivas and Drapinski work together to defend the zone. J.Rivas acts as a ball playing defender to help play out from the back, while Drapinski provides cover to sweep behind the line. Borowski and Lewicki are expected to push up to overlap the wingers, which requires the central defenders to hold the line and stay compact.

The midfield is a three man unit that connects the defense to the attacking front. Lesniak and Łabojko act as the central duo to control the middle of the pitch. Lesniak works to shield the defense and intercept passes, while Łabojko is able to carry the ball forward to break the line. Boisgard operates as an attacking ten in the hole to link the lines. Boisgard searches for space between the opponent defensive and midfield units to receive on the half turn and play through the lines.

The attack is built around a lone striker, Katsantonis, who works to hold up the ball and find the feet of his teammates. Vallejo and Lokilo provide width as wide wingers on either side of the striker. Vallejo prefers to cut inside to act as an inverted winger, while Lokilo stretches the defence by hugging the touchline. The team attacks in combinations to create runs in behind and often uses the wingers to isolate a one on one wide. The front three press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.

This Piast lineup offers several tactical advantages, such as the ability to press high in coordinated waves to win the ball back high up the pitch. The team can also create wide overloads when the full backs push up to overlap the wingers. These movements allow the team to stretch the defence and find space in the half spaces.

This 4-3-3 formation is designed for a high intensity game centered on winning the ball quickly. It is best suited for facing opponents that struggle to play short from the back and often give the ball away in their own half.
