In the attacking third, Senegal utilizes four players to pin the opposition back. MANÉ plays as an inverted winger on the left, frequently cutting inside to create chaos, while MBAYE operates on the right wing to spread the play wide. The central presence is provided by a partnership of two center forwards, I. Ndieye and I. SARR. These two strikers work to find space between the defenders, using runs in behind to exploit the high line of the opponent. They are expected to hold up the ball to allow the wide players to join the attack.
