Starting Lineup

Talleres plays with a high press and vertical intent, employing a 4-4-2 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and use that momentum to attack quickly. The team focuses on keeping the lines tight to make it difficult for the opponent to pass through the middle.

BELLONI acts as the last line of defense in goal. The defensive unit operates as a flat back four where VARAS plays at left back and FLORES takes the right back position. GONZALEZ and TERRUSSI form the central pairing, with GONZALEZ acting as the covering defender while TERRUSSI holds the line. The back four works to squeeze the space and set the offside trap to keep the play in the opponent's half.

The midfield relies on a double pivot consisting of TAMAY and NENZU to shield the defense. TAMAY works to intercept play and protect the center, while NENZU looks to carry the ball forward to link the lines. ALMIRON and GARCIA play on the flanks to provide support, either by pulling wide to spread the defense or cutting inside to create numbers in the middle. This midfield group aims to recycle possession and win the second ball to keep the pressure on.

Up front, Talleres uses two forwards in a partnership with SAUCEDO and NUÑEZ. SAUCEDO works as a pressing centre-forward to force the opposition to go direct, while NUÑEZ works to hold up the ball and find the feet of his teammates. They attack in combinations, often looking to make runs in behind or play a one-two to split the defense. ALMIRON and GARCIA support the front two by making late runs into the box to finish chances.
