Celta aims to play with high intensity and aggressive pressing through a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball back high up the pitch and strike quickly once the opposition loses control. The team relies on verticality to catch opponents off guard before they can settle into their own defensive lines.

Radu acts as the last line of defense, guarding the goal. The back line sits as a back three, with Starfelt acting as the central defender to command the area. Javi r plays as the right centre-back, while Marcos occupies the left centre-back role. These three defenders must stay compact to prevent gaps from opening up. The unit functions to protect the center and cover any runners who try to exploit the spaces behind the midfield.

The midfield uses a four man unit to control the center of the pitch. Carreira sits in a single pivot role to shield the defense and recycle possession. Beside him, Moriba works to connect the lines, while Galán and romano operate in the half spaces to drive the ball forward. This group works to squeeze the space in the middle, forcing the opposition to play wide and then trapping them in a mid block.

The attacking trident provides significant width and central presence. Jutgla leads the line as a pressing centre-forward, looking to find the feet of his teammates or run in behind. On the flanks, Hugo acts as a winger who hugs the touchline, while Aspas operates on the opposite side, cutting inside to create chances. This front line is designed to create combinations through quick passes and to isolate defenders in one on one situations.

Celta provides several tactical advantages with this setup. The formation allows for numerical superiority in the central areas when the midfielders push up. It also creates wide overloads because the wingers and midfielders can work together to pull the opposition defense apart. The ability to press in coordinated waves makes it very difficult for opponents to play out from the back.

This 3-4-3 formation is a high risk, high reward way to play football. It is best suited for games against teams that struggle to keep possession under pressure or those that play with a high defensive line.
