Deman and Weiser work to win the second ball and then look to pass through the lines to the attackers. Lynen and Stage sit ahead of them as two tens in the half spaces. Lynen and Stage press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch and connect the defensive unit to the front line.

The attack utilizes four players to pin the opposition back. Schmid and Itten play as a partnership of two forwards, often working as a target man and a second striker to create chaos in the box. Grüll stays wide as an inverted winger to cut inside and create chances, while Chuki provides width on the opposite flank.
