Reina and Ilic play on either side of him to connect the lines. Reina works to receive on the half-turn and distribute the ball to the wingers. Ilic looks to carry the ball forward and make late runs into the box. This midfield unit works to compress the midfield and win the second ball when the ball is played long.

The attack features three attackers across the front. Isfan (F) leads the line as a lone striker to hold up the ball and lead the press. Hassan plays on the left as an inverted winger who likes to cut inside to open space for the full back. Ilyas stays on the right to spread wide and stretch the defence. The goal is to create combinations in tight spaces and use the wingers to deliver early balls into the box.
