Kelechi Iheanacho and Paulo Bernardo lead the line as a two forwards partnership, with Iheanacho acting as a pressing centre-forward to disrupt the opposition build up. On the flanks, Hyun-jun Yang operates as a wide winger on the right to stretch the play, while Kevin Paredes plays as an inverted winger on the left to cut inside and find space in the half spaces. This attacking setup is designed to create runs in behind and isolate wide players in one on one situations.

A major tactical advantage of this lineup is the ability to create wide overloads when the full backs join the attackers.
