GONZALEZ guards the goal as the last line of defense. The back five uses LOPEZ as the central anchor to clear the lines and win the header. LATORRE and LEGUIZAMON play as wide centre-backs to cover the channels and support the middle. SOSA and PALACIOS function as attacking wing backs, tasked to push up the flanks and provide width in the attacking phase. This defensive unit works to stay narrow and compact to prevent passes through the middle.

The midfield consists of a flat four designed to protect the defensive block. HINO and VERON occupy the central roles to shield the defense and win the second ball.
