Starting Lineup

Salford looks to control the tempo of the game through a vertical style of play, operating from a 3-5-2 formation. Up front, Salford employs a partnership of two forwards to stretch the defence. Brad leads the line as a pressing centre forward to force a long ball from the opposition. Ellis plays as a second striker in the hole to find space between the lines and support the attack. The team builds play by using the wing backs to spread wide, creating space for Brad and Ellis to make runs in behind. When the team wins the ball, they look to hit in behind on the transition using the speed of the front two.
