Starting Lineup

Rhaka · Kevin · Hamra · Athaya · Dedi · Adzikry · Nazriel · Ikhwan · Adam · Saddil · Dion

Persib aims to play with a high press and quick transitions using a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to dominate the pitch by squeezing the space in the opponent half and using wide players to stretch the defence. The team wants to win the ball back high up the pitch to catch the opposition before they can organize.

Rhaka sits between the defenders to act as the last line of defence. The back three consists of Kevin, Hamra, and Dion. Kevin operates as the right centre-back to cover the wide area, while Dion plays as the left centre-back. Hamra sits in the middle to anchor the line and win the header in aerial duels. This unit works to stay compact and move together to set the offside trap when the opposition tries to play through the lines.

The midfield functions with two central players and two wide midfielders. Dedi and Adzikry form a central pairing to control the tempo and connect the defence to the attack. Dedi works to shield the defence and recycle possession, while Adzikry looks to carry the ball forward into the half spaces. On the flanks, Nazriel and Adam act as wide midfielders who provide width and help the back three when defending in a mid-block. They must track back to support the defenders and prevent the opposition from getting behind the wingers.

The attacking front three focuses on creating chances through various movements. Ikhwan and Athaya play as wide wingers who cut inside to threaten the goal. Saddil operates as a lone striker and works to hold up the ball to bring others into the game. The wingers press the opposition back line to force a long ball. This attacking unit relies on link-up play between the lines and quick combinations to find ways to hit in behind on the transition.

Persib offers specific tactical advantages with this lineup. The formation allows for wide overloads when Adam and Nazriel push high alongside the wingers. The team can also achieve numerical superiority in the middle when Dedi and Adzikry press in pairs. This creates space for the attackers to operate in one on one situations against the full backs.

This 3-4-3 formation is designed for a team that wants to play with high intensity and rapid movement. It is best suited for games against opponents that struggle to play out from the back under heavy pressure.
