Starting Lineup

Peralta · Sekulic · Menalo · Oratmangoen · Notsuda · Tom haye · Eliano · Mutombo · Matricardi · Sandy wals · Teja paku alam

Persib aims to play with a high press and verticality through a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and use quick transitions to catch opponents out of position. The goal is to stretch the defence and create chances through rapid movement in the final third.

Teja Paku Alam operates between the posts to organize the back line. The defensive unit functions as a flat back four where Sandy Wals acts as an attacking full back to provide width. Eliano plays on the left and can overlap to support the attack. In the center, Matricardi and Mutombo act as the primary defenders, with Mutombo providing strength while Matricardi looks to cover the space behind the high line. They work to hold the line and defend zonally to maintain compactness.

The midfield consists of a three-man midfield with a carrier and creative components. Tom Haye acts as the deep playmaker who seeks to find the feet of the striker and progress through the thirds. Notsuda works alongside him to win the second ball and drive forward with the ball. Peralta plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, acting as the link between the midfield and the front three. This group works to compress the midfield and press in a mid-block to deny the pivot of the opposition.

The attacking front line features three attackers across the front. Sekulic acts as the central striker, looking to pin the last defender and hold up the ball for others. On the flanks, Menalo and Oratmangoen act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create central overloads. This movement allows the team to attack in combinations and create runs in behind. The forwards press from the front to force a long ball and win it back high up the pitch for Persib.

A major advantage for Persib is the ability to create wide overloads when the full backs push high. The team also benefits from numerical superiority in midfield when Peralta moves into the half spaces. This makes it difficult for opponents to track runners and allows the team to switch play quickly to find isolated wide players.

This 4-3-3 formation focuses on high intensity and rapid vertical play. It is best suited for games against teams that play a high line and can be exploited with speed in transition.
