In the center, Mutombo and Matricardi serve as the main pairing, with Mutombo able to step into midfield while Matricardi stays back to cover space and win headers.

The midfield relies on a three-man midfield with a carrier and a creative presence. Gakuto acts as the left midfielder who presses aggressively to win the ball high, while Haye plays as the right midfielder to connect the defensive and attacking lines with his passing range. Berguinho operates as an attacking ten behind the striker to find pockets of space.
