Starting Lineup

Salford focuses on a direct and aggressive identity through a 3-5-2 formation. This lineup is built to dominate the central areas and use high intensity to win the ball back. The wingers, George and Mud, provide the width, pushing high to support the attack while being ready to track back and help the midfield when out of possession. This group works to press in a mid-block and force the opposition into mistakes.

Up front, Salford uses two forwards in a partnership to stretch the defence. Brad and Ellis operate as a pair, with one often looking to hold up the ball while the other looks to make runs in behind. They press from the front to force a long ball and disrupt the opposition build up. The attackers combine in tight spaces to move the ball between the lines, often using the width provided by George and Mud to create one on one situations.
