In the center, Pereira acts as a ball playing defender to help play out from the back, paired with TBD who provides cover and aerial strength. The midfield functions with a double pivot to control the center of the pitch. Mattson works alongside TBD in this central pairing to shield the defense and recycle possession. Elyounoussi operates in the left half space to connect the midfield and attack, while the right side features TBD in a more advanced role. This midfield group aims to win the second ball and drive forward with the ball to break the line of the opposition.

FC København uses a two man forward line to pressure the opposition back line. Dadasson leads the line as a pressing centre-forward to force long balls from the defenders. Moukoko plays alongside him, looking to make runs in behind and exploit the space created by the movement of the strikers. The attack relies on wingers and wide midfielders to pull wide and deliver crosses into the box, creating combinations to find the feet of the striker.
