Agust铆n Cejas stands between the posts to lead the defence. The back line operates as a flat back four that maintains a high line to squeeze the space. 脫scar Mart铆n and Rub茅n D铆az act as full backs to provide width and spread the play. In the middle, Jos茅 Salom贸n and Roberto Perfumo form the central pair. Perfumo is dominant in the air, while Salom贸n works to play out from the back to start attacks.
The midfield relies on a three-man midfield to control the center of the pitch. Juan Carlos Rulli and Francisco Olazar play in the deeper roles, with Rulli working to shield the defence and Olazar acting to connect the defensive and attacking lines. Humberto Maschio plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to arrive late into the box or receive on the half-turn. This group works together to win the second ball and break the line with forward passes.
Three attackers across the front provide the main threat for Racing Club. Alberto Ohaco leads the line as a pressing centre-forward to force long balls and disrupt the opposition. Omar Corbatta and Enrique Garc铆a act as wide attackers who cut inside to create space. This movement allows the team to use overlaps from wide to deliver crosses or find the feet of the striker. They attack in combinations to isolate wide players in one on one situations.
The team offers great strength through the ability to press high in coordinated waves. This pressure makes it difficult for the opponent to play out from the back. Racing Club also creates wide overloads by having the wingers pull wide and the full backs push up. This creates space for the midfielders to penetrate the final third and find ways to split the defence with a through ball.
This 4-3-3 is a heavy attacking formation built for dominance. It is best suited for matches against opponents that struggle to maintain possession under pressure.
