BATE prioritizes a high press and quick transitions through a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to hunt for the ball high up the pitch and move forward with speed once possession is regained. The team aims to control the tempo through direct passing and verticality to catch the opposition before they can settle.

Veremko guards the goal as the last line of defense. The back four operates as a flat line that can step up to squeeze the space. Bordachyov plays as the left back and Yurevich as the right back, both ready to overlap the wingers to provide width. In the center, Filipenko and Polyakov act as the central defenders, with Filipenko providing cover while Polyakov uses his aerial strength to defend against long balls. This unit works to hold a high line and catch attackers offside.

A three-man midfield controls the center of the pitch. Likhtarovich acts as the single pivot to shield the defense and win the second ball. Krivets and Drahun play as the two central midfielders, with Krivets known for his passing range and ability to play through the lines. Drahun helps to connect the defense to the attack by carrying the ball forward. This midfield trio works to compress the midfield and ensure the team maintains a compact shape when defending.

The attacking line uses three players to stretch the defense. Rodionov acts as the central striker, tasked to hold up the ball and pin the last defender. Stasevich plays on the left wing and is ready to cut inside to create chances, while Bressan stays wide on the right to pull the defense apart. The forwards press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition. They look to play in combinations to create runs in behind the defensive line.

BATE finds success by using wide overloads when the full backs push up. The formation also allows for a strong ability to press high in coordinated waves, making it difficult for opponents to build from the back. By using the passing range of Krivets, the team can quickly switch play to isolate wide players in one on one situations.

This 4-3-3 formation relies on intense pressing and rapid movement to disrupt the opponent. It is best suited for games against teams that struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
