BATE prioritizes a high press and quick transitions when using a 4-3-3. This formation is built to play a vertical game that uses width to stretch the opposition. By utilizing three attackers, the team aims to pin the last defender and create space for runners from the midfield.

In goal, Veremko acts as the last line of defense. The defensive unit functions as a flat back four with Yurevich and Bordachyov providing width. Yurevich works as a right back to support the flank, while Bordachyov covers the left side. In the middle, Polyakov and Filipenko form the central pair, with Polyakov acting as a ball playing defender to help play out from the back. Filipenko provides cover and stays close to the line to maintain a compact defensive block.

The midfield operates with a single pivot to control the center of the pitch. Likhtarovich sits in front of the back four to shield the defense and recycle possession. Alongside him, Drahun and Krivets occupy the half spaces as two central midfielders. Drahun drives forward with the ball to link the lines, while Krivets works to win the second ball and press aggressively in the middle. This trio works to compress the midfield and prevent opponents from playing through the center.

BATE uses three attackers across the front to maintain constant pressure. Rodionov acts as the central striker, tasked to hold up the ball and find the feet of his teammates. On the wings, Bressan and Stasevich act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create central overloads. This movement allows the attackers to combine in tight spaces or pull wide to isolate defenders in one on one situations. The wingers also trigger a press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.

One major advantage for BATE is the ability to press high in coordinated waves using the front three and the midfield. This creates high turnovers in dangerous areas. Another strength is the speed of transition when Bressan or Stasevich receive the ball in space. The team can also use the width of Yurevich and Bordachyov to create wide overloads when the opposition sits deep.

This 4-3-3 lineup focuses on aggressive pressing and rapid verticality. It is best suited for matches where the team needs to overwhelm an opponent through high intensity and quick transitions.
