This midfield group is designed to compress the midfield and win it back high up the pitch through constant pressure.

In the final third, the team utilizes three attackers to stretch the defence. Bajić acts as the central striker to hold up the ball and find the feet of his teammates. Ivanović and Layouni play as wide attackers, with Ivanović pulling wide to stretch the defence and Layouni looking to cut inside. This front three creates constant movement, with the wingers looking to make runs in behind or arrive late into the box. The team uses the width from the midfielders to deliver early crosses or cut it back from the byline.

A major tactical advantage is the numerical superiority in the center of the pitch, which allows the team to recycle possession and control games. The formation also offers wide overloads because Pankov and Repas can push up to support the wingers. This allows for a coordinated high press that can force a long ball from the opposition.
