Ahead of them, Casasola and De Maria operate as inverted eights, looking to break the line with progressive passes or make late runs into the box. Rizzo Pinna plays as an attacking ten, sitting in the hole to connect the midfield to the strikers and create chances in tight spaces.

The attack relies on a partnership of two forwards, Crespi and Torregrossa. They play close together to combine in tight spaces and make runs in behind the opposition defence. Crespi acts as the primary presence to hold up the ball, while Torregrossa looks to find the feet of the striker or pull wide to isolate defenders. They press from the front to force a long ball and trigger the press from the midfield.

This formation offers several tactical advantages for the club.
